Custom Orthotics

Dr. Rebecca works closely with a pedorthist at the orthotic laboratory that she orders all custom orthotics from to ensure that you get the best custom care possible! Dr. Rebecca uses an electronic 3D volumetric scanner to create a digital scan of the foot which operates as the model upon which the orthotic is manufactured.

Enhancing Foot Health and Comfort

A foot orthotic is a tailor-made medical device prescribed for insertion into footwear, designed to support, align, prevent, and/or adapt to foot deformities, enhancing foot function.

The goal of a foot orthotic is to optimally orient the hindfoot, midfoot, and forefoot, as well as the lower limbs, to alleviate and diminish foot discomfort, functioning similarly to how eyeglasses assist vision.

5/5

Dr. Rebecca was very knowledgeable and incredibly helpful throughout the whole process of fitting and obtaining my orthotics. She was easy to get a hold of anytime I had questions and I’m very satisfied with my experience, would recommend!

Custom orthotics, when paired with suitable shoes, can be beneficial in addressing various foot and lower limb issues, including but not limited to:

  • Over/under pronation
  • Foot pain
  • Achilles tendinopathy
  • Plantar fasciitis
  • Sports injuries
  • Metatarsalgia
  • Lower limb pain
  • Back pain

While low back pain is typically not exclusively foot-related, many individuals experience notable improvements in their low back discomfort when they combine proper footwear and bespoke orthotics with other treatments like chiropractic care.

Dr. Rebecca collaborates closely with a pedorthist at the orthotic lab where she orders all custom orthotics, ensuring that her patients receive the highest standard of personalized care.
